Washington State OIC Statutory Disclosure

This practice is a registered Direct Patient Care practice operating in compliance with Chapter 48.150 of the Revised Code of Washington (RCW).

Pursuant to Washington State Law and the regulations established by the Office of the Insurance Commissioner (OIC):

• Not Health Insurance: This agreement is not an insurance contract. This practice does not provide comprehensive health insurance coverage.
• Limited Scope: The monthly fee covers only the specific, virtual primary care services outlined in your DPC Membership Agreement. It does not cover hospitalizations, emergency room visits, specialist consultations, surgical procedures, external laboratory imaging, or outside prescription drug costs.
• Recommendation for Insurance: Patients are strongly encouraged to maintain separate, conventional health insurance or a catastrophic health plan to cover medical expenses that fall outside the virtual scope of this practice.
• OIC Registration: This entity is actively registered as a Direct Practice provider with the State of Washington Office of the Insurance Commissioner.
